​The Deuce Act Of The Week is singer-songwriter Liptrot from South Yorkshire, England.

 

Writing songs since his teenage years, it was not until Liptrot stumbled across influential producer, Stuart Epps that he finally found a way to realise his songs.  Originating from the no-man's-land outskirts between Barnsley and Sheffield, South Yorkshire his songs explore themes of family, community, local rivalry, dry wit, and the romance of the place. 

The release of his debut album, on EPPS Records, Travellers Tunes, in December 2025, includes songs written across four decades, with the second single from it being Thar Knows Me Better, an enhanced version of the original now including brass.
