Iyah May

DEUCE is excited to announce the chart success for independent Alt-Pop artist and viral sensation, Iyah May, despite attempts to cancel her.

Based in Sydney, Australia, Iyah May  created huge controversy following the release last year of her single Karmageddon after she chose to walk away from her major label and was dropped by her management company when she refused to change certain lyrics to her song.

The track sliced through the clamour and chaos of modern life, exposing the harsh realities of political division, media manipulation, corporate greed, and public apathy and had been described as being a striking anthem for these turbulent times.
Starting where she left off, Iyah May has now returned with her latest single, Good Citizen,  a song dedicated to  those who feel alone, in pain or unseen from all the terrible things that have been going on in our world, particularly over the last 5 years.

You can listen to Good Citizen by Iyah May plus her previous singles including Karmageddon below:

Iyah May's music has flourished entirely through organic growth without any financial input in the promotion and is a fantastic example to independent bands and artists worldwide that success is possible without the hand of a major label guiding the way.  In addition to this, she has recently had videos removed from TikTok which has been a major source in people discovering her music.
