The Deuce Act Of The Week is singer-songwriter Peter Foldy from Los Angeles, USA.

 

Born in Budapest and raised in Australia, Peter Foldy found early success in music after immigrating to Toronto, Canada where his debut single soared to number one on the Canadian charts earning him two Juno Award nominations.  Subsequent hits further solidified his place in the music industry leading to signings with major labels in Canada and the US.

Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Peter Foldy expanded his creative horizons into filmmaking working with notable talents like Paul Rudd and Beverley D'Angelo to name but a few.

Now returning to music with an impressive collection of new recordings, his latest release, Showdown features Australian pop star Beki Colada, a member of the chart-topping band The Mavis’s.  The group rose to fame in the late '90s with their gold-certified album Pink Pills and the hit single Cry, both of which left a significant mark on the Australian music scene.
